As of July 6th, APS offices are open to staff and invited visitors. The Society will remain closed to the public for at least the rest of the summer. Library & Museum staff now have access to our collections and will respond to reference and photoduplication requests as soon as possible. However, please note that response times may be delayed due to increased demand. The Society will continue a robust slate of virtual programs throughout the summer and fall. Head of Manuscripts Processing

Valerie-Anne Lutz is Head of Manuscripts Processing, where she supervises a team of archivists who make new collections available. Val has been at the APS since 1999 and has held the positions of archival processor, digital imaging project coordinator, and assistant manuscripts librarian.  Previously, she worked at the Philadelphia City Archives and Records Center.  She holds two BA degrees and an MA from Temple University, along with an MSLIS from Drexel University.
