Over these past weeks the Society has hosted a number of exciting virtual programs, and we look forward to resuming this programming when appropriate. Now our attention is rightly focused on mourning the senseless loss of an innocent life and reflecting on the difficult, necessary conversations and actions we must all take to begin to ensure that such tragedies end. Charles Greifenstein is in charge of researcher services, the manuscript department, and security policies.  He has an MA in English from the University of Arizona and an MS in library science from Drexel University.  Prior to joining the APS in 2003, he was Associate Librarian and Curator of Manuscripts at the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.
