Susan Anderson has led a distinguished career in Philadelphia-area archives for the last three decades. Before coming to the APS, she worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the Library & Archives. Prior to that, she worked with the Historical Collections at Pennsylvania Hospital. As a certified archivist, Susan has presented and published on a number of topics relating to collection management. Most recently, she contributed a chapter on “Fundraising” to the Society of American Archivists’ publication, Museum Archives: Practice, Issues, Advocacy. She earned a BFA from University of Illinois; a MFA from Southern Illinois University; and a MS-LIS from Drexel University.
