Choose from two different tour options for your virtual tour of the APS exhibition Dr. Franklin, Citizen Scientist! This includes close-ups of objects included in the exhibition. The first option is an adult tour led by the curators of the exhibition; the second is a youth tour, created with a 6th - 8th grade audience in mind, led by our Head of Education Programs. Both tours include unique videos and object highlights and take about 30 minutes to complete.
The exhibition, overall, considers the many forms science took in Franklin’s workplaces and homes, including the expertise of women and enslaved people. It also pays particular attention to the ways Indigenous knowledge influenced Franklin and his peers.
