As of July 6th, APS offices are open to staff and invited visitors. The Society will remain closed to the public for at least the rest of the summer. Library & Museum staff now have access to our collections and will respond to reference and photoduplication requests as soon as possible. However, please note that response times may be delayed due to increased demand. The Society will continue a robust slate of virtual programs throughout the summer and fall. The American Philosophical Society offices and library will be closed Saturday December 23 through Monday January 1, 2018. The Society will re-open for normal business hours on January 2, 2018.

The exhibition Curious Revolutionaries: The Peales of Philadelphia will be open 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the APS Museum (104 South Fifth Street) on:

- Thursday, December 21 - Saturday, December 23 

- Thursday, December 28 - Saturday, December 30 

Saturday, December 30 will be the last day to view the current exhibition.
