Paige Moody is an undergraduate student at Southeastern Oklahoma State University pursuing majors in both Graphic Design and History. She is a member of the honors program, engaging in academically challenging coursework. As a member of the Chickasaw Nation, her roots sparked an interest in researching Native American history. Her membership in the McNair Scholars program has allowed her to pursue this interest in her research working alongside a faculty mentor. Her skills in visual design led her to work directly with the Chickasaw Nations book publishing department in the summer of 2025, where she collaborated on a number of creative projects. This interest carried into her work at the American Philosophical Society in the Summer of 2026, where she studied early-twentieth-century indigenous art. She enjoys pursuing any interest she’s passionate about, both through her research and love for visual arts.
