María Angélica García Hernández is a member of the Ñuu Savi (Mixtec, Mexico) and a researcher at the Université de Rennes 2 (ERIMIT research unit), where she recently completed her PhD. Her research focuses on indigenous languages as vectors of social memory and sociocultural perception, at the intersection of linguistic anthropology and digital humanities: narrative analysis, documentation, archiving, and restitution of oral corpus. She is committed to developing research practices grounded in indigenous data sovereignty and open science.
