Clare Byers is an historian of scientific and print culture in vast early America and early modern Europe. She currently holds a postdoctoral teaching fellowship at the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy at the University of Missouri Columbia. She earned her PhD in History in December 2024 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
