Fern Rice, the inaugural APS/CSHL Undergraduate Intern in the History of Biology, is a senior at Purdue University studying Entomology and the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine. She is broadly interested in the history of medicine, with a particular focus on genetics and reproductive technologies. Previously, she has interned across natural history, art, and history museums and aims to engage with public history of science work within these spaces.
