Valentine Delrue is a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University funded by the Belgian American Educational Foundation. At the APS, she researched how plants, alongside meteorological instruments, served as tools for reading the weather on the U.S. East Coast and in Western Europe (1770-1870). Delrue is also currently turning her PhD dissertation into her first book project on weather forecasting in Enlightenment France.
