Curious about what birds live in Philadelphia?  Or, which ones use Philly as a stop over during migration?  Please join the Delaware Valley Ornithological Club and the APS on Saturday, May 11th as a DVOC guide leads us around our Old City neighborhood on a bird watching adventure. The guide will be on hand to answer questions and help identify the birds we see. Take some time before your busy day to pause, listen, and watch the birds that share our city.

The program will start at 9 a.m. at the Commodore John Barry Statue behind Independence Hall (on Walnut Street between 5th and 6th Streets). This tour will require participants to navigate sidewalks, streets, and green spaces.  It will last about an hour and fifteen minutes, concluding at the APS Museum.  Participants are then invited to explore the exhibition Sketching Splendor: American Natural History, 1750-1850.

Make sure to stop by the Museum and see the latest APS exhibition, Sketching Splendor: American Natural History, 1750-1850.

This event is free and open to the public, but you must register for the event here.
