As of July 6th, APS offices are open to staff and invited visitors. The Society will remain closed to the public for at least the rest of the summer. Library & Museum staff now have access to our collections and will respond to reference and photoduplication requests as soon as possible. However, please note that response times may be delayed due to increased demand. The Society will continue a robust slate of virtual programs throughout the summer and fall. Director of Grants and Fellowships

Linda Musumeci was born and raised in Philadelphia. After receiving a B.A. in International Relations from St. Joseph’s University, where she also minored in History and French, she moved to Chicago and earned an M.A. from the University of Chicago, also in International Relations, where she focused on international terrorism. After returning to Philadelphia, Linda worked for many years in academic publishing, on college-level texts concentrating on history, biography, Latin America, diplomacy, political science, and other fields before coming to the APS in 2004.
