I am Keyen Singer, an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. I'm a mentor for the CTUIR Youth Council as a leader for the "Stand with Native Youth to Save the Salmon" by breaching the 4 lower Snake River Dams. I lead the petition signed by many tribal members and supporting advocates and work towards support from our PNW senators and representatives. My main goals for the youth council are to bring my previous youth council leadership experiences to support the tribal youths' voices, vision, language revitalization, and cultural engagement.

I am a first-year student at the University of Oregon pursuing a Bachelor's of Science degree in Environmental Studies and minor in Native American and Indigenous studies. About to finish my first yr.

I'm also the 2023-2024 Miss Indigenous UO with a platform to support Indigenous Youth pursuing higher education, cultural and language revitalization, and community outreach in the native community on our educational institution. I’m also the new Community Relations Co-Director for the Native American Student Union (NASU) at UO. Where I also focus on community outreach and cultural engagement.

I am culturally active by root digging, berry picking, fishing, weaving, sewing, beading, dancing, singing, and wašat. Treaty Rights are important to practice.
