Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson (APS 1988) was an American lawyer and jurist. In 1976, she became the first female justice to serve on the Wisconsin Supreme Court and in 1996, she became its first female chief justice. Abrahamson served on the court for 43 years, the longest-serving justice in its history.
