Visit the American Philosophical Society Museum on the second Saturday of the month this summer for free, hands-on activities geared towards families!

Today, boats are pretty commonplace but did you know that they were (and still are) monumental in the growth of scientific understanding?

Join us on Saturday, August 11th as we explore the science behind sailing! From 12 to 3 pm, you can make your own paper sailboat and discover how ships allowed scientists and explorers to learn about faraway lands.

Every second Saturday of the month, June through September, the APS Museum will have free educational activities for families, individuals, and all visitors to enjoy.
