5:30-7:30 p.m.

Join us to get the first look at the APS Museum's latest exhibition --- In Franklin’s Footsteps: 275 Years at the American Philosophical Society.

Enjoy refreshments and celebrate the 275th anniversary of our founding. Learn about the nation's first learned society and the major contributions made by our Members. Yards Brewing Company has generously donated their "Ales of the Revolution" and other light refreshments will be provided. Curators Amy Ellison and Erin Holmes will be available throughout the reception for behind the scenes stories.

In Franklin’s Footsteps tells the story of the APS, focusing on the work of its elected Members and using materials from the Society’s renowned collections—from Benjamin Franklin’s library chair to Neil Armstrong’s signed copy of the moon landing transcript.

The reception will be on Friday, April 13 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm in Philosophical Hall. RSVP Requested.
