The APS joins our Philadelphia Historic District partners in celebrating Independence Day on July 2nd at the Red, White, & Blue To-Do.
Join us in two separate events. First, we will have our Museum open for extended hours from 10am - 7pm. Come visit our current exhibition Philadelphia, the Revolutionary City. The museum is free and open to the public.
Then, meet us at the Wawa Welcome America All American Block Party at the end of the Red, White, & Blue To Do parade route, on 3rd Street between Chestnut and Walnut Streets, from 11am - 3pm. The APS will be offering Declaration related fun activities and games. This is a free event and visitors are welcome to stop for any amount of time throughout the program.
Please note that photographs or video may be taken by APS staff throughout the both events for educational and/or promotional materials.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding accessing the museum, please contact the education office at [email protected]. We appreciate two weeks of advance notice for any accommodation requests.
