Sunday, April 21 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. ET

Join the APS Museum on Sunday, April 21 for “Earth Day: Roots and Shoots in the Jefferson Garden”.

Celebrate the lead up to Earth Day with our Education Staff in this informal program. Inspired by the APS’s current exhibition, Sketching Splendor: American Natural History, 1750-1850, visitors will channel their inner gardener and learn some basics in growing green bean plants, the stages of growing, and more!

This is a free event from 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Visitors are welcome to stop for any amount of time throughout the program. Hands-on activities for all ages brought to you by the American Philosophical Society.

Make sure to stop by the Museum and see the latest APS exhibition, Sketching Splendor.

Please note that photographs or video may be taken by APS staff throughout the event for educational and/or promotional materials.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding accessing this event, please contact the education office at [email protected]. We appreciate two weeks of advance notice for any accessibility requests.
