Alyssa Mt. Pleasant is Program Director for the Native American Scholars Initiative. A specialist in early American history and Native American and Indigenous Studies, she is completing a book about Haudenosaunee people following Revolutionary War. In addition to her work for the APS, Mt. Pleasant is a faculty member at the University at Buffalo (SUNY). She is Tuscarora.
