Early American History Note
Alexander Wilson was a prominent ornithologist in nineteenth century America. This collection includes poetry, a copy of an advertisement for Wilson’s book in the Albany Gazette and Charleston Courier, some correspondence, and a copy of Wilson’s will. His letters to William Bartram describe a conversation he had with others about their travels into the west.
