Anthropology Images
With collections concerning archaeology, linguistics, cultural anthropology, and physical anthropology, the APS is a rich resource of images depicting both the study of these disciplines and the people who practiced them. David Van Keuren's 1986 publication A Proper Study of Mankind is an excellent introduction to many of the manuscript collections from which these images are drawn.
