Mark A. Largent
Mark A. Largent (mlargent@ups.edu) is an historian of biology with an interest in the history of genetics. His disseration, "'These Are Times of Scientific Ideals:' Vernon Lyman Kellogg and Scientific Activism, 1890-1930," was completed under Sally Kohlstedt at the University of Minnesota in 2000, after which Largent joined the history department at Oregon State. He is currently a visiting professor in the Department of History at the University of Puget Sound.

Mark M. Sawin
Mark Sawin (mark.sawin@emu.edu) has been interested in Elisha Kent Kane for several years, writing both a masters thesis and dissertation on Kane at the University of Texas. He is currently an Assiostant Professor of History at Eastern Mennonite University.
