Abstract

Field recordings made in 1972 at New Oraibi, Arizona, by Richard A. Swanson. Discussion of Hopi terms and concepts relating to anatomy and medicine. Includes elicitation of sentences using anatomical terms and occasional miscellaneous autobiographical anecdotes and discussion of other aspects of Hopi life.
