Includes brief essays at end, including a summary of various theories of the origins of the American Indians.

This volume was copied from the original in possession of Dr. John Sibley in 1805 (certified, Nachitoches, October 29, 1805). It is taken from the memoirs of d'Iberville and Bienville. A few pages copied from Department of State's copy.
